Saturn represents the administrator of the psyche. It prioritizes action to achieve goals and contribute to society, while defending against fear and challenges to the status quo.

Saturn's Sign

The sign of Saturn represents the nature of the energy either used or defended against to function within and maintain the established order. For instance, if Saturn is in Gemini, the individual either survives using flexible behaviors, or fearfully avoids being distracted from its goals. If Saturn is in Libra, a balanced approach to achievement may be developed, or rigid and authoritarian relationships may lead to failure.

The house that Saturn is in represents that area of life where the individual can find success and achievement, or where they experience frustration and failure due to avoidance of fear.
