Who I Am
I am an astrologer.I was a psychotherapist. For many years this work was very fulfilling, helping people to confront and resolve their psychological conflicts. As I learned astrology, and used it more and more in my work as a therapist, I found my emphasis shifting from problem-solving on the personality level to discovery and affirmation of the basic archetypal self. Eventually I stopped calling what I do psychotherapy.
More than anything, astrology shows me that we live in and are part of a meaningful universe. I help people follow their growth path as shown in their birth chart, and in the process discover their connection to the universe.
Resume
I studied humanistic psychology, receiving a B.A. (1974) and an M.A. (1977) from Goddard College. I trained as a Gestalt and bodymind psychotherapist in the mid 1970's at Associates for Human Resources (AHR) in Concord, Mass. and at the Gestalt Institute of New England. I practiced as a therapist at AHR from 1976 to 1984, and then privately until 1990. While still at AHR I was a faculty member of a Masters-level training program for psychotherapists. I began studying astrology in 1978, began practicing professionally in 1980, and began teaching astrology in 1983. In 1990 I stopped practicing psychotherapy, becoming a full-time astrologer. My Chart
