Astrology Works

The pattern that we observe in the sky is in some sense a reflection of events taking place on Earth. This fundamental assumption is based on my experience - I see the connections every day, both in my personal life and my work.

As Above, So Below - by looking at the celestial pattern at a given time we gain knowledge of its reflection/manifestation in our own lives. There is a meanigful structure to the universe, and we can access it using astrology.

To this day I find this amazing. It is certainly not part of our mainstream Western cultural belief system. Neither science nor religion accept astrology as a valid way of modeling the universe. Perhaps if I was raised in a culture that simply took it for granted that each of us is a part of a meaningful, universal whole, astrology would just be another tool among many to make sense of life. As it is, I keep being impressed by its power, accuracy and comprehensiveness.
