Taurus

Taurus takes Aries' impulsiveness and contains it, directs it, gives it a clear purpose. Taurus moves slowly and methodically, its actions focused on getting what it wants, building up its resources. It seeks to maximize its stability, security, and pleasure. Taurus's ideal is sitting on the couch, one arm around its honey, the other holding the remote for its 50" plasma TV, with food and drink close at hand.

Taurus tends to trust and depend on itself, valuing self-sufficiency. When insecure, Taurus tends to be selfish, but when it has what it wants, Taurus is most generous. There is a quality of ownership that suffuses Taurus's relationships - "to have and to hold."
