The Signs
The signs of the Zodiac represent energies, the twelve basic energies that manifest on this planet. Every action, every process, every change is made up of one or a combination of these energies. Think of signs as the way things happen. They are somewhat like verbs, or perhaps more accurately adverbs.The nature of the signs can be learned by approaching them from different angles. First, you can read the descriptions of each of the signs listed below. The description of a sign is followed by a list of words and phrases associated with that sign (and its corresponding house and planet). By exploring the articles for some of these words in the Words section, you can deepen your understanding of the sign.
The signs constiutute a meaningful sequence, each sign building on the previous ones. You can think of the signs as the stages of development of an entity.
