Moon

As the Sun's energy, strongest at the center, radiates outwards, there is a point at which the energy of the environment begins to dominate. The Moon feels this transition, and forms here a protective structure - a membrane, a shell, a personality. It is attuned to the needs of the contained self, and builds relationships with the environment to meet these needs. It is unabashedly self-centered, caring for and protecting its home and all those it calls family.
