First House

The first house is where we begin things, where we move in a new direction. When the first house is emphasized (by containing planets), we prefer to be involved at the beginning, when things are just getting started. Spring is our season, initiative our method, encountering and overcoming challenges our passion. We are charting our own course, and prefer others to either get behind us or get out of the way.
