The Conjunction
When two planets are close together in a chart, we say they are conjunct, their relationship a conjunction. They natures, their functions, their energies tend to merge or blend. If the two planets are somewhat similar, they blend more easily, e.g. the Moon and Venus, or even Jupiter and Mars. If the two planets are primarily dissimilar, the merging is more difficult and uncomfortable, e.g. Venus and Mars, or Neptune and Saturn. In "My Charts", conjunctions are represented as curved purple lines that connect two planets.
